I am pleased to report that we have reached a mediated settlement with the Employer concerning Article 23.06 of the Collective Agreement.
The Article is as follows:
23.06When an employee works the majority of their regular workday hours, no sick leave credit(s) will be deducted.
The agreement reached is as follows:
The parties agree that the phrase “majority” of their regular workday hours” in Article 23.06 means fifty percent(50%) of their regular workday hours plus one half hour.
